Growing up in a family that was a mix of Protestant, Catholic, and atheistic, I gave my life to Jesus young. But it wasn’t until I was fifteen and read through the entire Bible that I saw the God I’d always loved come alive in an indescribably beautiful way. Christianity wasn’t just about getting to heaven anymore—it was about having a real and right-now relationship with a breathtaking God who loved me enough to die for me. I’ve been seeking more of him ever since, and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!
I attend Eastern Shore Christian Brethren Church, and am currently studying a Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic Science. I spend most of my time studying the subjects that I love (both science and the Bible), but I also love to read, play and write music for Jesus, and hike across our beautiful State.
Since starting at UTAS, Uni Fellowship has truly become a second family. One of the things I find most beautiful about being a Christian is that you have the assurance that wherever you go, there will always be a group of people who will welcome you, understand you, and support you unconditionally. That is what Uni Fellowship has been for me, and I can’t wait to be that for others!
