Bio:

For most of my life I have been blessed to be surrounded by lovely Christian role models. They taught me of Jesus and God’s great mercy and love. Despite this I spent the majority of my teenage years half committed—constantly knowing that the gospel was true but not eager to live as if that were the case. Since stepping into young adulthood, I have simultaneously stepped into my faith—making my relationship with God my highest priority, studying his word and ministering to youth and my peers. Seeking to love others and to be like Jesus.

I am a part of St Clements Anglican Church and am studying a Bachelor of Science and Master of Teaching. I absolutely adore spending time in creation (particularly hiking but I’ll give anything a crack). When I have less time to get outside, I love to read, play piano and write.

Being an active part of my community rather than a spectator is something I am incredibly passionate about! As such, I am keen to take on a formal role in supporting the ministry of Uni Fellowship. University is a pivotal time in life where we all ponder the big questions, move away from home and seek community, and have the opportunity to grow as disciples. AFES groups enable Christian university students to build their faith and broaden their networks, and they enable those curious to know more about God to ask questions and find answers. In serving as Treasurer, I look forward to supporting Uni Fellowship as a ministry.
