At staff meeting on Monday, Sam Green reflected on the unknowns of gospel ministry. You never know who will really grow and bear fruit in the future. You never know who will grow cold and apathetic.

Sometimes you feel like you are talking with someone, sharing the Bible with them, praying with and for them and it seems like none if it is making the slightest difference. But later on, the Holy Spirit uses that ministry to bear great fruit in that person's life.

Other times you find someone who seems full of energy and potential but they end up showing little interest and commitment to the gospel and mission.

All of this is a reminder that we need to be faithful with our gospel ministry and we need to persevere. Because you never know.
