I grew up in a Christian family and became a Christian when I was quite young. Through ups and downs in my life, I have always been able to rely on God for strength and comfort, drawn from the knowledge that He has a plan for my life that is loving and wise. For me, my faith has very much been a journey, and I know it will continue to be as there will always be ways in which I can grow in my understanding of and love for God. Sometimes it feels like a slow process, but I am learning to trust in His timing.
After moving from Launceston at the beginning of 2019, I started attending Soul Church. I’m studying English and Politics as part of my Bachelor of Arts. I love stories – reading them, writing them, watching them – and spending time with my family and friends. When I have time, I also enjoy music and occasionally play the ukulele and sing.
I’ve accepted this nomination because I have benefited a lot from being a part of Uni Fellowship over the past two years and want to make sure that I am serving and giving back. I look forward to the opportunity to learn new skills, strengthen friendships, and grow in my faith over the year ahead.
